A lovely shoot with Julie and Chris in Glasgow Continue reading
We were once again in Edinburgh for the beautiful wedding of Stephanie and Mark. Continue reading
We had only spoke with Nicola and Geoff via Skype previous to the wedding, so it was great to finally meet this happy couple as they enjoyed their wedding day in Oran Mor Glasgow.
Well, we had a great time exhibiting at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall at the end of last month – we really enjoyed chatting to brides, grooms, family and friends about plans for big day’s coming up.
We’ve had lots of consultations with couples ahead of weddings next year, 2014 and 2015. The diary is really filling up – and fast! There really is nothing like the feeling of instantly get along with couples as we talk through their plans for their wedding.
This month though we have some portrait days booked in as some begin thinking ahead to Christmas (can’t believe we just said that!). We also have some lovely Autumnal weddings this month that we are very excited about, before we head off to Rio de Janeiro. Although it will be warmer over there – we’ll have no time for sunbathing as we will be hard at work covering the SOCCEREX Global Convention.
We hope everyone had a lovely Halloween & Bonfire night! As the nights get longer and the days get colder it will soon be time to hang those Christmas lights and celebrate the festivities before we know it!
We’ve had a little break lately. After the busy summer we had the chance to escape to the sunshine and we took it. But we’re back, with batteries fully charged and we’re ready for a busy end to October – and an even busier November!
We are exhibiting at the Dream Wedding Scotland Wedding Show on 27th and 28th October, and then the weddings begin again in November – along with some local portrait sessions. We’re even going to squeeze in a trip to Rio de Janeiro to help cover the Soccerex Convention.
Busy, busy, busy…….

However, if you do still require a photographer it may be worth coming to see us, there could be an extra little offer in store…
Well, how time flies when you are having fun! Last time we wrote, we were looking forward to a busy May – and we’ve had great fun with some great images for our brides and grooms! Now we’re at the end of June and we’re wondering where the time has gone!
We’ve been in many locations. A city centre wedding at 29 with Chris and Hayley to Murrayshall’s with Sarah and Iain, to Dunkeld with Kirsten and Scott and also to Kilwinning Abbey, Irvine beach and The Western House Hotel with Kirsten and Chris and many more. Despite the weather not always being perfect – we’ve had lots of spectacular moments caught forever – see for yourself what you think of some of those moments on our Facebook page.
We’ve had some exciting times of our own too. We’ve been asked to appear in the November/ December issue of Brides Magazine, so look out for us there! We’re also appearing in the Scottish Wedding Directory and the Glasgow Girls Wedding Guide – so you can also see us there! All of this whilst preparing for Scotland’s Exclusive Wedding Event in August.
So we are in full flow now, and our wedding season gets ready to get even busier as we approach July.
Keep an eye on Facebook and Twitter to see what we are up to!
Well we have had a breather and are now back hard at work!
Between shooting weddings, viewing weddings and fitting consultations in for next years weddings – it’s been all go! Our portraits are starting up also this month!
We have had some lovely feedback from our couples about their wedding photographs and are thoroughly looking forward to our weddings coming up in the next few weeks! Some of the viewings have been in the office, but some have also been in our brides homes where we’ve had ‘viewing parties’ All great fun and there really is no better feeling than seeing a couple absolutely delighted with the images we’ve created for them of their special day.
But the work continues, and May is shaping up to be a very busy month. We met with Claire and Paul ahead of their wedding in Oran Mor, we’ve had a look round 29 and are meeting Susan and Scott for their engagement shoot this afternoon- and there is much more to happen this month.
On the portrait side – we’ve just finished an adorable shoot with two beautiful babies. We’ve also fitted in another portrait afternoon in Alyth on the 13th May. We hope to see you there!
It’s going to be another month of loving what we do.
We have had an action packed start to our wedding season. In the space of two weeks we’ve covered five weddings – from The Balmoral, to Glenrothes, to Buckinghamshire.
But now we have a little breather, we’ve had the chance to put our new office to the test…… and it’s passed with flying colours! We’ve had a few lovely consultations with couples ahead of next year, but also have shown the results to the bride and grooms of our recent weddings.
One of these brides, Lynn, has been a close friend for many years, and it was an honour to play such a role in her and Kevin’s special day. But it feels like we’ve also gained more close friends in Charlie and David. We can’t wait to let our other couples see their images when they return from their honeymoons!
Both brides mentioned that they enjoyed their day so much that they wish they could do it all over again – we hope our images allow them to relive it for a long time to come!!!
It’s been a busy time lately at Imagine Images, with lots going on. First off, we had Charlie and David’s wedding in The Balmoral in Edinburgh, and what a great way to start our wedding season. As you may have read in earlier posts, they wanted urban, city images and we had great fun creating these images for them.
At one point, as we were doing some pictures on the Royal Mile, a passer-by came up to us to ask if this was a ‘real’ wedding, or a fashion shoot! So clearly Charlie and David looked fantastic and we believe we have the pictures to match. They have yet to see them as they are on honeymoon, but they will be uploaded to our site soon after they get them.
Next up was a trip to Manchester for Soccerex. Lots of famous faces. Some from years gone by, like Denis Law and Bryan Robson, to more current players like Rio Ferdinand and Dimitar Berbatov. Great fun to work with these guys. Have a look at our Public and Corporate site to see what other famous faces you can spot.
Two weddings followed that weekend. One of which was a very close friend. It was extra special to be part of their day, and hopefully they’ll love our work too.
Lots of pictures taken, lots of fun had, and lots of pictures to show off.
And it all starts again tomorrow when we travel to Glenrothes for Caitlin and Lee’s big day, then a trip to London for Charlene and Andy’s.
It’s All Go………..
