Bride and Groom on their wedding day at Lochgreen House Hotel

Well, that was the year that was. Nobody will ever forget it, and we’re no different. A crazy year, but one that still had some happy times, that we loved capturing.

Some of the happy times for us started where we spend the majority of the year – at home. We got to spend lots of time together, and also with our son, George. Many a game was created with him to keep us all entertained, and we enjoyed our time together in the garden, all the while thanking the sun for, in the main, joining us. But in October we added a new member when our daughter Felicity was born and completed our family, so we thought we may as well start with a pic that would sum up our 2020.

When the year started with weddings in early January with Zahra and Raymond in Glasgow City Centre, 2020 was looking great and we were so excited about the year ahead! Writing about and remembering that day now does seem like it was so long ago (was that really 2020?), and a lot changed between then and now. It wasn’t until September that we were at another wedding day, and were lucky enough to be able to capture a few more before the end of the year.

In between times, apart from the re-arrangements, it was great to see lots of families for shoots together, as well as some newborn babies for some familiar faces and we absolutely loved being able to get out and see these guys and their families. We also managed to squeeze in some pre-wedding shoots, and we are SO excited about the wedding days to come!

The year then ended at Lochgreen House Hotel with Ashley and Andrew, a couple who had to re-arrange many times and finally managing to get the go-ahead at the fourth attempt. As the sun set on their day, it too on our 2020. With the ‘fire’ in the sky, and the happy couple below, it seemed like quite an appropriate way to finish off 2020, and look ahead to 2021. Scroll down to see this, and a just a few more of the images we took this year.

A very Happy New Year when it comes, hoping for a wonderful, and more normal 2021.
